From our community

"Your program is AWESOME! It has given both my boys, but especially Sam, a huge sense of confidence and accomplishment in addition to all the core "therapy" skills he works on during each riding session; and to boot he is learning passion & compassion for these amazing horses. It is every therapy, play, and class rolled into one and we are VERY SORRY to be leaving - we will miss you all!"

For riders with physical disabilities or conditions, adaptive riding can provide therapeutic benefits.

Studies have shown that equine-assisted activities can improve gross motor function, spasticity, muscle symmetry, core strength, posture, balance, coordination, and improved gait.

from our community

"PSEAT provides a beacon of safety for people in need in a world full of chaos. This organization is welcoming, encouraging, kind, and flexible while providing a place to feel connected. The program reminds you to slow down, breath, and focus on what is directly in front of you, and in this day and age that’s a rare and cherished gift. Being able to witness the relationships the kids develop with their horse, other kids, the volunteers, and with themselves is inspiring. PSEAT is a lighthouse helping guide those most vulnerable back home to themselves.
